At Strawberry Patch Preschool, we strive to provide a safe,
positive, caring and fun learning environment for children and their
families. We are very proud to be the only cooperative preschool
in the state of Washington to be accredited by the National
Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The
NAEYC is the nations largest professional organization of early
childhood educators that identifies and sets standards for best
practice when working with and teaching young children.
The curriculum we offer at Strawberry Patch emphasizes active,
hands on learning that allows children to form concrete ideas
about their world including academic, social, emotional and
physical concepts. We take into account each child’s individual
educational needs and abilities by offering several different child
directed activities each day. We foster a child’s sense of curiosity,
exploration and initiative by allowing children to make choices
about which activities they will get engaged in and how they will
use the materials provided.
We believe very strongly that a preschoolers day should
include time for exploration, experimentation, and getting
dirty and messy. Through play, your child will be getting
ready for the next step in their educational journey, they will
be building self confidence, independence and increasing
their academic knowledge.

Our daily activities include:
