| I
had chosen Strawberry Patch Preschool several years before I actually
got to be a parent there. My son was not able to go to the co-op
when he was 4. My husband had just passed away and I did not have
anyone to babysit my daughter for me, to be able to work in the
classroom and attend the monthly meetings and other preschool
obligations.
So when my daughter was 3 1/2 and my son was already into elementary,
I got her enrolled at Strawberry Patch. That first year was good
for her and I just loved being involved. Working in the class
2-3 times a month was fun for Julia and me and then the other
days off were good for me. This last year Julia really had a blast
and has grown so much! This year I also took the position of Registrar/Vice
President and I have loved it. I really enjoyed being completely
involved in this preschool and in my child's learning and growing.
The teacher Miss Teresa is just the most authentic real honest
to goodness person you could ever meet. She is the best preschool
teacher. I'm just comparing the experience my son had at a private
preschool to the past two years my daughter has had here. If you
can make the committment then this is the preschool for you!
